Friday November 4, 2011
Time: 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Location: Kensington, Le Méridien King Edward Hotel
Panelists: Frédéric Julien, Inga Petri
Building on the previous Dialogue Session, this roundtable will allow agents and managers to reflect on the role of arts presentation within the performing arts ecosystem. It will be an opportunity for participants:
- to share their views as to how presenters can best support the work of agents, managers and artists – now and in the future;
- to consider if and how the roles of agents, managers and presenters are bound to change in the next 20 years and how that will impact their working relationship;
- to identify ways of creating a stronger synergy between artists, managers, agents and presenters;
- to reflect on the findings of the other research activities.
This roundtable will be an important part of The Value of Presenting study and an excellent opportunity for our researchers to hear the unique point of view of Canadian agents and managers.
