October 9. 2012 - After a successful edition at Contact East, CAPACOA's mentorship program is set to develop more leaders at OCFF and at APAP.
The Succession Plan (TSP) Program at Contact East in Fredericton was a great success! Thanks to all of the participants, mentors and the Atlantic Presenters Association team for making this such a meaningful training program for everyone involved.
“As much as I mentored, I was also mentored in return and probably learned just as much from my mentees as they hopefully did from me.” - Deb Slade, Brock University Centre for the Arts
The TSP will be at the Ontario Council of Folk Festivals (OCFF) Conference from October 11th – 14th, 2012 in Mississauga, ON. Four emerging festival presenters will work with mentors and their peer group throughout the weekend, while also taking part in all of the Presenter’s Program activities at the conference.
Upcoming editions of the TSP program will take place at the CAPACOA conference from January 22nd – 26th in Toronto, and at the APAP Conference in New York from January 11th – 15th. This will be the first time that CAPACOA’s mentorship and peer network program will be offered in an international context, and we are excited to offer this kind of experience to TSP participants and mentors.
