NAC Launches Northern Scene

February 25, 2013 - The National Arts Centre announced today the first programming details of Northern Scene.

The sixth in a series of national Scene festivals that showcases the finest established and emerging artists in the country. The festival will celebrate the work of 250 artists from Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Nunavik, and Nunatsiavut in 50 events taking place over 10 days, from April 25 to May 4, 2013.

CAPACOA is proud to collaborate with Northern Scene to host its annual National Network Meeting May 1 and 2 in Ottawa. This meeting gathers more than 20 presenting networks for two days of intensive dialogue. CAPACOA will also deliver another edition of the mentorship program The Succession Plan at Northern Scene.
