Networking

"To be complex does not mean to be fragmented. This is the paradox and the genius of our Canadian civilization."

Adrienne Clarkson

CAPACOA is dedicated to its role in helping to develop and convene various kinds of networks. As a means of supporting the field through sharing and developing best practices, CAPACOA recognizes networks as a crucial element of professional development in the performing arts. For presenters, it is one of the most effective ways of learning and developing strong curatorial skills, especially given the absence of presenter-specific training degrees and certificates.

CAPACOA is working to develop a ”˜network of networks'- a supportive structure that enables practitioners to work together within their fields, and across disciplines. If you are a member of a network, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . CAPACOA wants to learn about what you are doing, and how it can help to serve you.
