About GAMI/Simonds Immigration Service
GAMI/Simonds has been representing foreign artists since 1989, preparing and filing I-129 Petitions for non-immigrant workers on their behalf. Since 1996 GAMI/Simonds has offered this service to the arts community in general: foreign artists, authors and United States concert presenters. This service includes consultation applications to the appropriate union(s) (AFM, IATSE, Actor's Equity, AGMA, AGVA etc), and the filing of O or P Petitions and related Support Petitions (O-2, P-1S) to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
They are well versed in the nuances of deciding what classification is appropriate and the documentation to support that classification, changes in immigration laws and procedures and the common mistakes and misconceptions that can result in delayed approvals or denied applications. They regard every case as unique - including repeat applications.
GAMI/Simonds is also available for consultation on tax matters for foreign artists. Pending the circumstances, GAMI/Simonds can prepare and file Central Withholding Agreements.
